The Sect of Homokaasu - The Rasterbator
This website has a program on it takes an image you upload and "rasterizes" it so you can make posters and murals on your printer. It takes the brightness (and optionally color) information from your image and makes a large image made up of round dots. This image is then broken up into the number of pages needed by the output size that you set. It then makes a .pdf and sends it to you.
There also is a stand alone application that you can download.
